International Politics

International Politics refers to the interactions and relationships between sovereign states, as well as the structures and processes that govern these interactions. It encompasses the study of power dynamics, diplomacy, conflict, cooperation, and international organizations. International politics examines how states pursue their interests, manage conflict, and engage in negotiation and collaboration on global issues such as security, trade, human rights, and environmental concerns. It also involves the influence of non-state actors, such as multinational corporations, international NGOs, and transnational movements, on global affairs. The field analyzes various theories and frameworks, including realism, liberalism, and constructivism, to understand the complexities of global governance and the behavior of states in an increasingly interconnected world.
